Joe Marinko

Principal Investigator

Retired FBI Special Agent now Principal Investigator at Touchstone Investigations.

Mr. Marinko began his law enforcement career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2002. Over the course of the next 20+ years, he conducted investigations in a wide range of fields including federal crimes, weapons of mass destruction and counter-intelligence. He also conducted presidential appointees’ background investigations. He endeavored to build relationships within the agency and fostered outreach across other law enforcement agencies including federal and local offices to build strong cooperative partnerships.

Mr. Marinko worked in a variety of FBI offices over the years including working as a Supervisory Special Agent at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Mr. Marinko won numerous awards and special recognition for his work within the counter-intelligence field. He built a solid reputation for his interview skills, ability to illicit information from people of all walks of life, and develop sources. He was often called to train new Special Agents on these essential skills which are considered more an artform than a skill learned from any textbook. He is an unconventional thinker and uses his unique abilities to find creative solutions.

He and his wife and children live in Las Vegas.
